Position Summary
The Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager plays a key leadership role in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance the organization's brand awareness, reputation, and engagement with key stakeholders. This role will collaborate closely with key positions within the Marketing Department and the Leadership Team to drive cohesive messaging and alignment with key audiences, including our franchise business owners, their employees, and our Members. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and strategic leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in marketing and communications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with the company’s global objectives.
- Oversee the global brand positioning and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms and regions.
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Manage the creation of compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
- Oversee all aspects of our website, ensuring it reflects our brand voice and is easy to navigate.
- Collaborate with the Creative Design team on graphics and design support to develop visually stunning and emotionally resonant marketing campaigns and materials.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and manage marketing and communications budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve strategic objectives and maximize ROI.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing and communications activities.
- Must be able to travel internationally (must have valid passport).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a global context.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute a communications strategy and marketing plan. This includes the conceptualization, development, management, and production of print, digital, email, web, and social (media) marketing content and other materials.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to create compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.).
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
