Job Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food to the exact chef’s specifications and setting up stations for menu items. Duties will include preparing and cooking food in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Follow the directions of the Chef and Sous Chef.

Qualifications:

  • Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for food.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
