Client is seeking a  NON Medical Billing Specialist with proven analytical skills and Communication Abilities for a Tempoary to hire position.
Hands-On Role performing issuing of invoices, credit memos, to customers in paper or electronic format with supporting documentation. Motivated individual with excellent planning and organizational skills, displays attention to detail, proficiency with systems and technology.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, performing multiple tasks / projects with defined deadlines. Maintaining systems for item codes, customer codes and other relates sales inputs. 

Responsibilities

  • Issue invoices to customers
  • Issue monthly customer statements
  • Update customer files with issued invoices
  • Process credit memos
  • Update the customer master file with contact information
  • Track exceptions between the sales orders, shipping tickets and invoice register
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites
  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
  • Communication with Customers, sales persons and Sub-Contractors preforming services on behalf of organization
  • Filing
  • Maintaining consistent items / inventory codes
  • Sales reporting for billed quantities and / or amounts

Job Requirements

  • Bookkeeping Experience a plus
  • Stable professional background with 3+ years of experience, and month-end close processes.
  • Preferred industry experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, transportation, trucking, and shipping.
  • Documentary requirements, documentation review, data analysis, problem-solving, research and resolution.
  • A multi-tasker, who is comfortable working independently and in a team in a fast paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • A perfectionist, who pays close attention to detail, with strong accuracy and minimal error rate.
  • Ability to maintain files in a systematic and orderly fashion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deal effectively with customers and subcontractors relationships while performing functions.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, and with excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  • Dedicated, reliable and professional
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures as well as initiate tasks related to job requirements.
  • Experience with integrated accounting software package or ERP system a plus, PREFERRED MAS /SAGE 100 or 200.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience. Must be detail oriented.
