Job Summary:

This position is accountable for operating production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading

Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend and walk for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload and deburr parts
  • Inspect finished parts and compare them with the requirements of the blueprint
  • Develop robust manufacturing processes
  • Create work holding and select cutting tools
  • Meet production goals in terms of quality, quantity and cycle time
  • Train Co-workers
  • Follow ISO standards and practice Lean 6S manufacturing principles
  • Use of proper PPE at all times

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math skills
  • Blueprint reading
