RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Conducting lessons with students either individually or in a small group setting

• Preparing a detailed lesson plan for each lesson in advance

• Discussing student progress with each student, their family, and other stakeholders, including providing recommendations and an action plan for improvement

• Submitting an accurate session log and completing a summary for all lessons you lead

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in each subject area where instruction is carried out

• Participating in relevant professional development for the subject matter

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work weekends and evenings required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a specialized subject or field required

• Highly self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• High Proficiency in one or more of the following subjects:

• AP Computer Science
• AP Microeconomics
• AP Macroeconomics
• AP Calculus AB and/or BC
• AP Statistics
• AP Chemistry
• AP Physics 1, 2, and C
• Other specialized subjects in STEM

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team

• MA/MS/Ph.D. in Subject Field, and/or MAT/M.Ed is a plus

• Teaching License or Certificate in Subject Field is a

  COMPENSATION:

  $42/hr with ability to increase, based on performance
