Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Implement behavior management techniques and strategies as directed by the behavior analyst - Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions to clients - Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior - Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans - Collaborate with the behavior analyst and other team members to ensure effective treatment plans - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Communicate regularly with clients' families regarding progress and treatment updates Skills: - Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques - Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities - Knowledge of special education practices and strategies - Proficient in behavior management techniques - Excellent analytical skills to assess client progress and behavior - Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to interpret care plans Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) - Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass background checks We offer competitive compensation, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement.
