Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Excavation/Pipefitting Foreman Operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision and excavation, particularly in tasks related to piping, demolition, and equipment installation. This position involves overseeing and coordinating the construction of water treatment and wastewater treatment plants in Northeast Indiana.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including piping, excavation, demolition, and equipment installation.
  2. Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors to plan and schedule tasks effectively.
  5. Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  6. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  2. General knowledge of piping, excavation, demolition processes.
  3. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  6. Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  7. Valid driver's license.
