About Sage ABA Center For Special Needs:

Sage ABA Center For Special Needs is a newly established ABA group dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with special needs. Our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers children and their families to achieve their fullest potential. We are seeking a passionate and experienced BCBA to join our team as a consultant, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate BCBA to join our team initially as a consultant for the first 1-3 months. The consultant will play a crucial role in setting up our ABA services, developing treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients. This position offers the potential to become a full-time BCBA with our growing center, providing an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of our team and shape the future of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients based on evidence-based ABA principles.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to ABA therapists and RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians).
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and conduct regular progress reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client services and progress.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of center policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall growth and success of the center.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up new ABA programs or centers.
  • Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and software.
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Crisis Prevention Certified
