Job Description:

As a CNC Lathe or MIll Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our products meet exact specifications and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
  •  
  • Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, and materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.
  • Keep accurate records of production runs and machine maintenance.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification in CNC machining is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
  • Proficiency with CNC machinery and tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking work.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools.
  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including noisy or dusty conditions.
