Position Summary: Prequel is seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer. This role is responsible for designing, writing, and implementing features for mobile applications, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly experiences across various platforms.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin, focusing on high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to translate project requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure mobile applications meet and exceed performance and functionality standards.
  • Stay current with the latest Xamarin updates, mobile app development trends, and best practices to continually enhance app development processes.
  • Optimize mobile applications for maximum performance and compatibility across iOS, UWP, and Android platforms.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve code quality and maintain coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app performance, functionality, and integration, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in mobile development.
  • Proven track record as a Xamarin Developer, with a portfolio of cross-platform mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET framework, along with a strong understanding of Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin.Native.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile UI/UX guidelines for both Android, UWP, and iOS platforms, and ability to implement custom interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques specific to Xamarin, including memory management and native integrations.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, fostering a streamlined and collaborative development process.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering robust, error-free applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, agile development environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interaction with technical and non-technical team members.
