Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Tech to support our client's hospital facility in Worcester, MA. This is a 52-weeks travel contract role (local candidates accepted).
Duties:
• This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with mammography, including related clerical and service duties.
• Performs digital screening and diagnostic testing, including 3D tomographic studies as assigned. Performs routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order.
• Obtains and reviews patient clinical history and related reports/documentation. Obtains pertinent medical history, instructs patient regarding exam procedures and preparation.
• Performs related clerical duties as needed.
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:
• Must possess a current Massachusetts State (DPH) Radiologic Technologist/Mammography license
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Must be BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
Shift Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Worcester, MA
Floating Requirements: NA.
Pay range: $2,872.80 weekly package
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
