Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Must be able to commute to Ellabell,GA daily

Primary Objective:

Responsible to evaluate, inspect, and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic servicing and efficient maintenance of material handling machinery and equipment, HVAC, building and grounds in accordance with governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.

Principle Duties and End Results

1. Perform work requests which includes minor repairs on buildings, fixtures, and plumbing.

2. Perform journey-level maintenance and repairs on HVAC, air handlers, heat exchangers, fluid lines, valves, fans, ducts, dampers, vents, and controls maintenance.

3. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment.

4.Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords).

5. Performs minor plumbing maintenance (replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains).

6. Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles).

7. Minor MHE repairs such as, replacing light bulbs, fluids, checking battery water levels, and cleaning out debris from engine compartment.

8. Works with outside vendors on repairs requiring specialized skills or certifications.

9. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience direct or related experience in an automated environment, or equivalent experience in related industry.

• Outstanding technical, planning and trouble shooting skills are a must.

• Excellent oral and written communication and interaction skills. Ability to assess problems, determine root cause, and work to resolution with a team.

• Self-starter: ability to work independently.

• Experience of powered belt, roller conveyors and warehouse induction lines.

• Experience working on warehouse doors and ramps.

• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and landscaping knowledge.

• MHE/Yard truck mechanical knowledge and/or operating experience.
