Job DescriptionJob Description

We are adding an Interior Designer to our team The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: A professional degree in Interior Design
  • REQUIRED: 2 - 3 years of experience in related field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or CET
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook
  • Strong creative and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and meet project deadlines

  • Must have strong time-management skills to be able to meet project/task deadlines
  • Must value shared success for all team members
  • Must be able to provide knowledgeable design input on a range of projects as well as be able to interact effectively with a project team
  • Must desire to work collaboratively with others
  • Must be willing to assist with the overall effort in meeting client deadlines on all phases of projects and project types
  • Must be proficient in developing and presenting finish palettes
  • Create functional, attractive designs and layouts for various projects
  • Support sales team when meeting with clients in order to understand the client's objectives and desires
  • Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
  • Prepare presentations (3D, 2D, and renderings) for projects
  • Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
  • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
  • Must have the ability to work on-site and attend regular project meetings in person, as needed. Flexible remote working eligibility requires 2-3 years of industry experience.
