Looking for a FULL TIME MAMMOGRAPHY Lead Technologist . We are a very relaxed Medical Spa inside the Roosevelt Field Mall. For this position you are responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms. Must be ARRT registered and NY STATE licensed in Mammography. The technologist will need to perform Mammography and QA/QC testing. Responsible for the care and safety of the patient and making them feel calm about having their mammo.

The result is a mammography facility that provides women with a luxurious, spa-like experience, a convenient location, and access to the top board-certified specialists in breast imaging.
Pure Mammography is a division of Medical Arts Radiology we have been in business over 80 years. We are a medical spa that does mammo and sono only.

  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly QC testing to ensure the quality control functions related to mammography.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
  • Position patients and use immobilization if necessary.
  • Select proper mode to produce correct exposure factors.
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.

You must have a High School Diploma, current ARRT(R) certification, CPR, and state licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Mammographic Radiologic Technology.

Job Type: Full-time

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
