At Abcor Home Health, we pride ourselves on being patient-focused and positively impacting the community we serve. We have been providing healthcare services to seniors in the state of Illinois for over twenty years. With seven locations, thousands of seniors are serviced annually.

We are hiring an Accountant to join our team in our Arlington Heights office. This role is an integral part of the team, reporting directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day to day accounting functions by following internal controls
  • Coordinate month end closing and assists with financial reporting
  • Perform monthly bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Perform back up functions for IDOA and DHS billing
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
  • Experience with general ledger monthly journal entry
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations including cash
  • Experience in financial statements
