POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the department Supervisor, Teardown is responsible for taking parts off the racks and cleaning them after the plating process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Removes parts from racks and use air hose to dry parts upon completion of plating cycle.

• Uses a safety blade to remove masking from parts.

• Dips parts in tanks to clean as needed.

• Prepares and packages parts for shipping.

• Cleaning inside and out of tanks.

• Adheres to safety regulations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use basic tools (i.e. safety blades and air hose).

• Ability working on a platform with tanks of acid and chemicals.

• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.

ITAR REQUIREMENT:

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.

• Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
