Junior Accountant

We have partnered with a renowned leader in providing high-quality interior design products. The accounting team is seeking a Junior Accountant to join and play a pivotal role in supporting the team with various accounting tasks. This a great opportunity for growth

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in monthly financial statements preparation.
  • Compile and gather reports for monthly sales, accrued payables and other journal entries for review.
  • Maintain various balance sheet accounts schedules.
  • Assist with sales tax filing.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank deposits.
  • Assist and support account payable functions.
  • Research and inquiries issues on accounts receivable.
  • Work under the supervision of Accounting Manager.
  • Participate in the future projects of the department.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks given by Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of accounting work experience.
  • Working on or have taken some basis accounting classes. Degree preferred.
  • Good in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent in analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
