Immediate full-time position available for a 164-unit apartment community located in Campbell, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day operations.
  • Keep all resident files up to date.
  • Perform all leasing activities to achieve occupancy goals by greeting potential prospects, conducting community tours, showing apartments, and processing applications.
  • Manage the resident move-in process, gather required documentation, send out lease renewals, and perform the move-out process.
  • Assist with resident requests and escalate issues to property management staff if necessary.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with onsite support staff.
  • Assist with the collection of rent, reviewing delinquency reports, and other bookkeeping tasks.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all company and community policies and ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, drafting leases, rent extensions, letters, notices, and correspondence for residents, owners, and vendors.
  • Maintain a positive and professional level of customer service to all residents and working personnel.

 

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of experience in property management and leasing and/or customer service.

· High school diploma or GED required. BA degree desirable.

· Strong accounting skills/background preferred.

· Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Strong administrative, bookkeeping, customer service, and resident relations skills.

· Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

· May need to make use of their personal vehicle for work related duties; therefore, the applicant shall maintain a valid, state-issued driver's license and shall always maintain appropriate insurance.
