Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and maintain our high standards of quality and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of kitchen operations. As Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, our dishes meet our exacting standards, and our customers leave satisfied every time.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Daily Operations:

    • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items.
    • Ensure that all food is consistently prepared and served according to our recipes and quality standards.

  • Inventory:

    • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of food, supplies, and equipment.

  • Staff Management and Training:

    • Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff.
    • Provide ongoing training and development to ensure a high level of performance and teamwork.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.

  • Quality Control:

    • Ensure that all food leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant’s quality standards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

  • Safety and Sanitation:

    • Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen.
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
    • Maintain equipment and arrange for repairs as needed.

  • Customer Service:

    • Address any customer concerns or complaints related to food quality or preparation.
    • Work with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Kitchen Manager
  • Intermediate/Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control.
