Position Overview: Back-end Software Developer, Integrations

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer, Integrations to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware development and integrating various systems and services. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of backend technologies, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions and backend services to support integration with various third-party systems and internal applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze integration requirements, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of middleware and backend systems.

  • Implement robust security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Debug and resolve integration issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

  • Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for middleware solutions, integrations, and backend services.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them as necessary to enhance our integration solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years professional software development experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience as a backend software engineer, with a strong focus on middleware development and system integrations.

  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).

  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

  • Strong experience with AWS services (SQS, Lambda) and/or Azure services (Service Bus, Functions).

  • Familiarity with ETL processes, webhooks, and event queue processing.

  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, and SAML.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with censhare, Sitecore Content Hub, Aprimo DAM, Salsify, Syndigo, Monday.com, Adobe Workfront, Magnolia CMS.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms.
