CNC Machinist SECOND SHIFT

We are seeking a second shift (12:00PM - 8:00PM) CNC Machinist with the ability to set up and operate machines according to program specifications. Machines include Haas, Mazak and Doosan.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Make offsets and change inserts during operation
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
• Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations
• Conduct regular CNC machine assessments

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years’ experience as a CNC mill Machinist
• Ability to do mill set ups
• Experience with Haas and Mazak mill preferred
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings
• Able to understand geometric signs and tolerances
• Capable of reading and using measuring instruments
• Knowledge of algebra and math functions
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
