BODY SHOP HELPER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in repairing vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
  • De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Prepare vehicles for body repair work
  • Notify management of any additional repairs needed and documents any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair
  • Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion date
  • Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
  • Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles as needed
  • Must comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Other duties assigned by management

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willing to submit a background check & MVR
