Body Shop Helper

BODY SHOP HELPER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in repairing vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
- De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Prepare vehicles for body repair work
- Notify management of any additional repairs needed and documents any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair
- Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion date
- Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
- Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles as needed
- Must comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Maintain a clean work area
- Other duties assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to submit a background check & MVR
