PrideStaff is working with a healthcare practice in Jupiter; seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Biller to join their team. Our chosen Medical Biller will have experience with eClinicalWorks and ERA .
Schedule: M - F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Pay range: $18 - $21/hr., (DOE) plus comprehensive benefits package
Some of the duties and responsibilities of our chosen Medical Biller will be:
- Electronic payment posting and reconciliation
- Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 coding systems
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies and healthcare providers
- regarding billing inquiries and disputes
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA
- regulations
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and reimbursement
- policies
Skills Required:
- eClinicalWorks and ERA experience
- Electronic payment posting and reconciliation
- Proficient in medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures, must balance accounts.
- Familiarity with medical collection systems and insurance claim processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies and healthcare providers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
