Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, and basic construction duties. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning and removing debris, setting up materials, and loading/unloading tools.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools, such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.
  • Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades..
  • Measure and cut materials to desired specifications under supervision.
  • Perform basic tasks such as digging trenches, backfilling, and leveling soil.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Assist in the transportation and installation of construction materials, equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform routine site clean-up to maintain an organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Operate machinery as needed 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license
