Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems and performs repairs on automobiles, trucks, buses and other motor vehicles
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Prepare vehicle maintenance reports and keep accurate records of all maintenance repairs performed
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Vehicle maintenance experience required; truck, tractor; and/or diesel maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
