We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure optimal oral health for all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleaning, perio charting, and scaling
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Take digital dental x-rays with Dexis
• Scan patients with iTero scanner
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Administer local anesthetics and nitrous gas as needed
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain clean working environment
• Conduct complete oral examinations
• Knowlege of oral pathology
• Provide support in various dental procedures if needed
• Call patients from recall list during downtimes

 

Skills:

• Good time management
• Efficient in keeping good flow of the daily schedule
• Good team player and works well with other staff members
• Proficiency in dental software, ie Curve Hero
• Knowledge of dental terminology and coding
• Friendly personality and great patient care skills
• Familiarity with dental office assisting is a plus
• Ability to identify treatments needed with collabration with the Dentist
• Competence in dental imaging techniques
• Good anatomy knowledge
