Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required. An Associate degree in engineering or architectural fields is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with other tools such as Revit, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and/or EasyPower is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., National Electric Code, NFPA, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor tool install, semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial projects

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work on behalf of the engineer of record and design team on specified tool installation scopes of work at a Semiconductor project site.
  • Generate comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligned with both industry standards and client requirements.
  • Determine conduit, conductor, and wire sizing, meticulously accounting for current loads and environmental variables.
  • Assess cable tray fills methodically to guarantee proper cable management, organization, and future scalability.
  • Perform short circuit calculations to ascertain fault currents and specify suitable protective devices.
  • Perform precise voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system stability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all electrical designs strictly adhere to pertinent local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Apply established design techniques and exercises discernment in adapting and modifying design concepts as needed. Uphold quality control by adhering to company and team design and CAD standards.
  • Will work with other Designers, Sr. Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on specific assigned objectives, complex features, and aid in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
  • Foster collaboration, communication, strategy, and support within your team, multidisciplinary groups (Mechanical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.), and inter-company teams to optimize
