What They're Looking For

An editing mastermind that will be responsible for bringing video content to life, whether it’s short-form, long-form, or social-first. This role will include collaborating closely with our creative team to ensure every edit reflects Robeson Parks’ standard of excellence. They’re looking for an editor who loves the craft and is versed in the latest technology and trends, both in-software and on-screen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Editing: Edit video content for various projects including promotional videos, advertisements, campaigns, social media content, and more using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Post-Production: Perform all post-production activities, including color correction, sound editing, adding effects, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet the Robeson Parks standard.
  • Asset Management: Organize and manage media assets and project files to ensure a streamlined workflow.
  • Quality Control: Review and ensure the technical quality of all edited materials, including correct formatting, sequencing, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Creative Input: Contribute to the creative process by offering fresh ideas and innovative approaches to video storytelling.
  • Deadline Management: Adhere to project timelines and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all video content.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, tools, and industry trends to continually enhance the quality and efficiency of each production.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of creative work.
  • Ability to showcase proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools including Airtable and Frame.io.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and sound design industry standards.
  • Exceptional understanding of video production and post-production processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a critical eye for emotive storytelling.
  • Ability to work both independently and remotely as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take and implement feedback quickly and effectively.

Job Details

  • Pay: Hourly (Rate: $50-60/hr)
  • Availability: Approx. 20hrs per week, occasional weekends and holidays
