Job SummaryWe are seeking a Master's Level Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Supportive Counselor to join our team In this role, you will develop a supportive and therapeutic relationship with clients. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team led by the clinical director. If you are someone who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you
 Responsibilities 
  • Assist the treatment team in the development and implementation of a treatment plan specific with developmental needs and/or required interventions.
  • Participate in individualized treatment team meetings for clients.
  • Provide level of care (LOC) recommendations based on ASAM criteria. 
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information
  • Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
  • Involve and advises family members when appropriate.
  • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
  • Previous experience within the behavioral health or substance use disorder fields 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Microsoft Office proficient
 Certifications All certifications will be required to be completed prior to start date with revalidation per company’s policy. 
● HIPAA 
● Adult CPR - First Aid 
● Blood Borne Pathogens● CPI validation required within 30 days of employment with revalidation per company’s policy.
