A fast-growing manufacturing company in Gurnee, IL is looking for a 1st shift Machinist This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity

Requirements of the Machinist

• 60% Manual, 40% CNC
• 3+ years of experience or training using Milltronics software (or equivalent) to program and operate their own machines
• Understanding of the basics of G-Code for programming CNC Mills and Lathes
• Background in machining various materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Responsibilities of the Machinist

• Work with Manual Lathes, Bridgeport, Drill Press, etc.
• Generate new or modify existing G-code for CNC Mills and Lathe
• Update drawings and specification sheets based on comments/issues and communicate back to engineering
• Utilize Jigs and Fixtures for standard product offerings

1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $30.00 - $33.00 an hour, depending on experience
