Sales Accounting Processor

$19 to $20/hour

Analyze Retail Cash/Sales Variances

We are hiring a Sales Accounting Processor to analyze cash reports and sales data across nationwide retail locations. In this analytical accounting role, you will investigate cash over/short and sales variance discrepancies. Familiarity with retail and POS systems and cash handling helpful.

Sales Accounting Processor Responsibilities:

- Reconcile daily cash reports against sales data and bank deposits
- Research cash/sales variances using POS, inventory and banking platforms
- Determine root causes of discrepancies through detailed analysis
- Collaborate with stores to resolve issues and improve cash handling
- Report findings and recommend process improvements for sales accounting

Helpful Experience:

-2+ years accounting, bookkeeping or financial analysis experience
- Excellent analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional coordination
- Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
