Great Basin Industrial has immediate openings for EXPERIENCED painters / sandblasters. Painters will work with a team utilizing conventional and airless spraying equipment at jobs in the western states and across the country.

  • Work is generally weekdays, dependent on weather and time-sensitive jobs
  • Days consist of 10 hour work days, 5 days a week
  • Housing costs are covered when traveling through the stay of jobs, you pick choice of where
  • Travel to different cities, experience new things, great pay and benefits

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
  • Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting
  • Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
  • Perform blast pot tending duties
  • Safely run power tools: blast pot, grinder, mobile equipment, airless and conventional

Requirements

  • Experience painting/blasting with spraying equipment and plural component pump is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
  • Aptitude in using appropriate tools
  • Conscientious with great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements
  • Focus on safe work, strong work ethic, good attitude
