Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress and observations
- Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, and therapists

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting residents to appointments and community outings
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a nursing home setting is a plus
- Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with seniors is beneficial
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting care provided
