Position:

Pratt’s Lawn & Landscape is currently seeking a full-time Technician in the greater Lexington area for our Plant Health Care/Integrated Pest Management (PHC/IPM) Division. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a self-starter, motivated and will have a willingness to learn. The Technician will be responsible for performing treatments on our residential and commercial clients’ greenspaces. Our technicians work closely with all production staff to provide year-round service to a variety of residential and commercial clients. You will be a partner in growth and will report to the PHC/IPM Division Field Manager and Division Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsive and proactive to our client’s needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing thorough treatment and identifying potential problems in client’s lawn and/or landscape
  • This is a fast paced and dynamic position, so you’ll need to be able to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure we are doing our best work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work closely with all production personnel to ensure client needs and expectations are being met
  • Work with our software system and field management system throughout the workday
  • Be responsible for the company’s property i.e. company vehicles, equipment, worksites, etc.
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one (1) year in the lawn care, landscaping and/or grounds maintenance field is preferred, but not required
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency - work experience will be considered if education requirements are not applicable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal employees and clients
  • General horticultural/agronomic knowledge
  • A valid KY State driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass and background check and drug screening
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once
  • Proficient with technology
  • A willingness to contribute and learn
