Role Overview: As a Salesforce Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations across our enterprise. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in vendor solution design sessions, providing expert guidance on extensions/modifications, data conversion, and application integration.
  • Define technical requirements in collaboration with customers and end-users, ensuring alignment with project goals and long-term strategy.
  • Lead technical workshops and design sessions to articulate architecture options, highlighting pros and cons to facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure technical solutions adhere to security guidelines and performance standards throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain internal development standards, guiding the team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide oversight on QA efforts, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices.
  • Serve as a technical leader, offering mentorship and coaching in Salesforce best practices and integration strategies.
  • Review technical architecture deliverables to ensure quality and requirements traceability.

 

Salesforce Skillsets:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and 2+ years with Public Sector Foundation for licensing/permitting.
  • Proven expertise in at least two full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations, demonstrating deep understanding of platform capabilities and limitations.
  • Design secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform, encompassing multi-platform integrations and authentication.
  • Proficient in Apex, Force.com, Java, Salesforce Flow Builder, Visual Flow Pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL for custom development.
  • Experience migrating from Workflow rules/Process Builder to Flow Builder.
  • Strong knowledge of Batch Apex, Apex triggers, and classes for efficient data processing.
  • Familiarity with web services, REST services, and other data transport technologies within enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in CICD/Release Management processes for Salesforce.com technologies.
  • Experience with data modeling, migration, and integration of 3rd party applications and AppExchange products.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies, including data seeding using OwnBackup.
  • Utilization of Conga Composer for document generation and identification of technical risks and issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, business-driven Salesforce solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor technical teams towards achieving project goals.
