Tower Tech

Access One Consulting, is currently searching for experienced Tower Tech. As a Tower Tech, your initial duties will include, but not be limited to, assisting crews safely and efficiently working on microwave installation/programming/troubleshooting, antenna and line troubleshooting, etc., while ensuring quality work is performed in compliance with company and government safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repairs for tower wireless sites across the assigned territory.
• On site responsibilities include:
  • Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performs tower maintenance.
  • The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Installation of antennas/microwave dishes
  • Antenna mounts, microwaves, coax lines, TMA's, RF jumpers, remote radio heads
  • Fiber/DC Hybrid cables
  • Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance
  • Responsible for ensuring safe work conditions and adhering to Tilson safety programs.

Qualifications:

• Previous training and/or 18 months experience climbing telecommunications towers preferred
• Familiarity with all major carriers (VZW, Sprint, T-Mobile, Ericson and AT&T)
• Excellent safety record
• Able to climb up to 200+ feet into the air on telecommunications antennas
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to work in varying weather conditions
• Able to work a 100% overnight travel schedule- 3 week rotation, this is not  local work

LOCATION: Candidates must either live or be able to report to the assigned office in Mesa AZ.

This is a full-time W-2 hourly position
