Healthy Minds Therapy is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that is searching for a place that supports them as a human being, encourages them in their career, and expects them to act with integrity. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating counselor or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Virginia with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- DEA Certification
- Experienced with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
- Experienced in both medication management as well as therapy.
