City Line #1 is home to 5 innovative adults, who take great pride in their individual styles and thus the personalized décor of their bedrooms. When not spending time at home, the residents love to go to the movies, go bowling, and spend time in local parks. They also enjoy visiting with their families and traveling out of the state for vacations, with support in from staff. The residents of City Line #1 are embraced by a wonderful, caring, professional team who are trained to support the people's daily needs, including assistance with using a wheelchair and balancing dual diagnoses. The ideal staff to support the residents at City Line #1 are candidates whom embraces flexibility, accountability, team work, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a willingness to help with ADL's (assisting with showering, toileting, grooming, etc) as necessary.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED; some college is a plus
Valid Driver's License
Work life experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
Ability to participate in 3-5 weekdays of paid NYS mandated OPWDD initial trainings during normal business hours, upon hire.
Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions (provided FREE of charge by our Premier Healthcare clinic)
