A.                Summary Description and Primary Functions

The HP Post Press Operator is responsible for the set-up and completion of daily print jobs in a timely and quality manner. The Press operator is also responsible to adhere to all Safety, Quality and other company policies.

 

B.                Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

·        Understand products and customer requirements.

·        Reports to Press lead when supplies and parts are needed for the HP Press. 

·        Make sure jobs are completed free of defect and communicate to Press lead of any orders issues or/and discrepancies.

·        Makes sure all equipment preventative maintenance is kept up.

·        Reports to Press Lead any problems related to HP press. 

·        Understand and comply with Safety, Quality, and GMPs (General Manufacturing Practices) policies.

·        Performs Quality checks and ensures paperwork is filled out correctly.

·        Attend daily Shift-Change Pass Down meeting with Press Lead. 

·        Help cover for counterparts vacation and sick days or as requested by Production Manager.

·        Cross train on other equipment as directed by HP Press Lead.

·        Attend and contribute to Weekly Area Safety meeting and report all accidents to Press Lead.

·        Understand Equipment job Safety

·        Responsible for supporting 5S system through the cleaning and organizing of the workplace.

·        Flexibility to cross train and work in different shifts when assigned by Production Manager.

·        Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

·        Fluid communication, both verbally and written in the English language.

·        Solid equipment troubleshooting and organizational skills.

·        Being able to follow Lead’s instructions in completing tasks assigned.
