Job Description:

To work closely with the leadership and senior designers to develop the design and the drawings from the early stage of the schematic design all the way till preparation of construction drawings and design deliverables. Including:

  • Meet with the clients and manage the relationship and communications throughout the process.
  • Create and present the proposed Design ideas to the Senior designer.
  • Prepare design boards/ layouts
  • Create 3D renderings of the proposed design
  • Cabinet Design and order
  • Collect and Prepare material samples
  • Prepare 2D drawings/layouts
  • Prepare and propose the detailed required for construction
  • Obtain and collect required samples from the vendors
  • Material Take-offs and estimates

Job Requirements:

PROFESSIONAL:

  • Min 10 Years of Experience
  • Fluent with Auto CAD (Work samples are required)
  • Proficient at 3D renderings (Work samples are required)
  • Proficient at Interior Design's Drafting (Work samples are required)
  • Speciallized in Kitchen and Bath cabinet design (A degree is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with Building Codes
  • Knowledge of wood construction
  • PLUS: Knowledge and experience with Commercial work
  • PLUS: Degree in construction, drafting or architectural design is strongly preferred
  • PLUS: Familiar with Chief Architect
  • PLUS: Work experience in Dallas
