Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Intake Worker to become a part of our team You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Develop relationship with patient at first point of contact through first appointment.
  • Provides the patient, family members, referral sources, significant others with assessment and voluntary/involuntary admission information.
  • Continually assesses processes and workflows involved with pre-admission performance and maintains an intake continuous improvement plan for the department.

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
  • Familiarity with intake procedures
  • Provide therapy to clients when necessary 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Being bilingual (Spanish & English ) is Preferred 

Required Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, behavioral/human services field or related field strongly preferred.

License/Certification:

  • LPC (Required)
  • LCSW (Required)

Language:

  • English and Spanish (preferred)

Work Location: Remote
