ResolveSoft is seeking a talented Web Software Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you'll wear many hats and play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from designing and coding web applications to implementing, testing, and maintaining them. You'll work independently and collaboratively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable web software solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications/software application modules across all stages in compliance, from initial conceptualization to deployment and ongoing support.

  • Independently create and implement new user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) elements using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

  • Review, modify, and enhance existing codebases, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.

  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites render flawlessly across all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).

  • Integrate web applications with backend databases using SQL queries and server-side scripting languages.

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to measure test execution, generate reports, and address test issues.

  • Develop and maintain web services and APIs to facilitate communication with external systems, and integrate with internal and external systems.

  • Work with version control systems (like Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with other developers.

  • Implement robust security measures to protect user data and application integrity.

  • Leverage cloud-hosted resources like Azure, AWS, and Microsoft SQL Server for scalable and reliable deployments.

  • Actively participate in the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) process, collaborating with designers, testers, and other developers.

  • Troubleshoot complex development and production issues, ensuring smooth application operation.

  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing by mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance.

  • Maintain up-to-date skills through continuous learning and pursue relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) App Builder or equivalent.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in web software development.

  • Experience in both front-end and back-end development

  • 8+ years of experience supporting SDLC environments using tools such as .Net Framework, Visual Studio, HTML 5, CSS, JSON, XML, and SQL Server.

  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, Python, and JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Angular).

  • Strong understanding and experience with testing cycles and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying web applications that meet client requirements.

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

  • Solid knowledge of web development frameworks and server-side scripting languages.

  • Experience with Git version control and other DevOps tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Passion for staying current with emerging technologies in the web development landscape.

  • Experience with accessibility best practices

  • Understanding and experience of best security practices
