Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic M&A Associate to join our Private Market Advisory Industrials team in Milwaukee. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in investment banking with a focus on middle-market mergers and acquisitions. As an M&A Associate, you will work closely with some of the industry's best minds, gaining hands-on experience and making a significant impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Present New Business Proposals: Collaborate with senior team members to identify client needs and present tailored financial solutions.
  • Conduct In-depth Business Research and Analysis: Analyze market trends, industry developments, and company financials to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis: Create and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential transactions.
  • Prepare Confidential Offering Memorandums: Draft detailed documents that effectively communicate the value and potential of client companies.
  • Create and Refine Potential Buyer Lists: Identify and assess potential buyers or investment partners that align with client goals.
  • Prepare and Deliver Management Presentations: Develop and present comprehensive presentations that articulate strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Engage in Direct Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with strategic advice and support throughout the transaction process.
  • Interface with Potential Buyers: Manage communications and negotiations with potential buyers, ensuring smooth and successful deal execution.
  • Mentor and Develop Analysts: Guide and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as an Analyst or equivalent in the financial industry; backgrounds in accounting, consulting, or financial product sales are highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate degree, ideally in Business Administration (not mandatory).
  • Exceptional academic performance, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a demanding schedule.
  • High level of motivation with a relentless drive for excellence.
