POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

As an Automotive Sales Specialist, you play a crucial role in driving the success of our dealership by connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the process of purchasing a vehicle. This dynamic and customer-centric position requires a combination of sales expertise, product knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automobiles, possess a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and be committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


    1. Customer Engagement:
      1. Greet customers warmly and build rapport to understand their preferences and requirements.
      2. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify the most suitable vehicles for customers.
      3. Provide detailed product information, features, and benefits to help customers make informed decisions.
    2. Sales Process Management:
      1. Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
      2. Conduct test drives and showcase the features and performance of different vehicles.
      3. Effectively communicate pricing, financing options, and incentives to facilitate the sales process.
    3. Product Knowledge:
      1. Stay updated on the latest automotive industry trends, technological advancements, and product features.
      2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the vehicles in the dealership, including specifications, performance, and safety features.
    4. Customer Service Excellence:
      1. Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process to build long-lasting relationships.
      2. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
      3. Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
    5. Team Collaboration:
      1. Collaborate with the sales team, finance department, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and efficient sales process.
      2. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
    6. Sales Targets:
      1. Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
      2. Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
    7. Lead Generation:
      1. Prepare videos to send to customers at regular intervals as determined by your manager.
      2. Conduct phone calls, compose emails and texts to new or existing customers at regular intervals as determined by your manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

  • High level of professionalism and customer-centric attitude.

Working Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • General office conditions, including periods of sitting, standing, walking.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
