Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Spray Painter to paint or touch-up automobile parts. In this position, you will use a variety of industrial equipment, including a spray gun. You will tape off windows and other details of the car, spray a layer of paint, and apply finishing touches to the vehicle. In some cases, the car will already have a layer of paint, which may impact how you spray on the new coat. Our ideal applicant is a painter with their own tools and years of experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cover windows and crevices that do not need paint
  • Prepare the surface
  • Spray a layer of primer
  • Spray the first layer of paint, checking for thin spots
  • Apply a layer of clear coat to ensure a long-lasting finish

Spray Painter Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5 years experience required
  • Must have own tools
  • Automotive experience
  • An eye for color
