DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Directly responsible for producing CAM packages and CNC Programs for close tolerance components
  • Possess an analytical mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for improvement and innovation within Computer Aided Manufacturing
  • Maintaining revision on programs, documentations and tool data in CAM.
  • Actively seeking to learn and understand machine specific G-code commands
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and tool selection is essential
  • Average understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Collaborate closely with teams within production, engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to support accurate and efficient CNC programs
  • Directly responsible for producing CAM packages and CNC Programs for close tolerance components

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a detailed, organized, and systematic approach to projects
  • Self-Starter with a whatever-it-takes mentality to meet deadlines and customer needs
  • Proven experience in programming Mill-Turn machines and 5-axis CNC machines within a production environment of high-tolerance precision components
  • Microsoft Office suite, Mastercam/Edgecam, Creo Parametric 8.0, CAD/CAM software experience
  • This position is considered regular, full-time, and requires a minimum in-office schedule of 40 hours per week. This may also include occasional travel
  • Confidentiality, integrity, dependability, and cooperation
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical, and drug screening testing
  • Minimum of 5 years of CAM programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of engineering or equivalent experience

SCHEDULE & PAY

  • Monday - Friday
  • Some weekends necessary
  • Some travel necessary
  • First shift
  • $28 - $33 DOE
