- Cosmetology Student or 1+ year salon assistant experience

- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to understand client needs, work closely with the salon team and provide exceptional service
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive salon environment.
- Continuous Learner: Eagerness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and techniques.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor consistent of a high end salon setting
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Salon upkeep: maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the day on our salon floor, backabar and color bar area including sweeping floors, restocking supplies and laundry. Make sure the day is running smoothly with the stylists.
- Laundry duties include folding and putting away
- Prepare salon trays and ensure they are clean
- Thoroughly follow opening/closing procedures
- Assist stylists: Greet and prepare guests for services (i.e. shampooing hair, applying basic treatments) assist stylists with tasks as needed.
- Product knowledge: Stay informed with our salon haircare products and services to help assist our guests with recommendations.
- Customer service: provide excellent guest support, and perform all duties behind the shampoo bowl (shampoo, condition, scalp massage)
