Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis, working Wednesdays, Thursday, and half day on Fridays. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental services while fostering positive patient relationships and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns, answer questions, and alleviate anxieties.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with our dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Stay informed about advancements in dental technology, techniques, and materials to enhance treatment outcomes and efficiency.
- Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix and CEREC is preferred.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license and current DEA registration.
- Minimum of two years' experience in general dentistry, with proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to deliver exceptional dental care with precision and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine concern for patient well-being.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
