American Platinum Door & Gate is seeking a garage door apprentice/helper. We are looking for an individual who is eager to develop and apply their skills in ways that make a positive impact to communities. Responsibilities:

• Help lead techs in installing/servicing garage doors and operators and associated components.
• Safely operating company vehicles.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Assisting with/installing commercial and residential garage doors.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing the job site.

Qualifications & Skills: Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience is a plus. Willing to train right candidate.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Clean driving record for 3 years.
• Pre-Employment drug screening and background check.

Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Abilities:

• Ability to move or lift 70 plus pounds.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible, “do whatever it takes” approach.
• Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
