We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy locksmith technician to join our team as a Shop Technician.

Job Duties:

- Repair, rekey and maintenance of Residential and Commercial hardware
- Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate and service tools and equipment as needed
- Provide estimates and consultation on keying and entry hardware systems
- Ability to troubleshoot with a variety of variables and 'think on your feet'
- Cut and stamp keys
- Knowledge of Medeco, Baldwin and Emtek hardware a plus
- Maintain cleanliness of shop
- Order, receive and organize incoming shipments
- Answer phone calls and email inquiries as backup to Dispatch position
- Schedule jobs as backup to Dispatch position
- Ensures all work is performed to the standards and quality of the company

Required Qualifications:

- Experience equal to qualification of Journeyman Locksmith
- Experience with computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to create master key systems
- Experience and skill in the function, use and safe operation of tools in the locksmith trade
- Clean driving record and current Driver's License

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop
- Ability to reach above and below the shoulders and/or head
- Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist or pull
- Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground
